The WOMMA (Word of Mouth Marketing Association) announced who will be the members of the jury for the WOMMY Awards 2013. It will be made up of high-level representatives of Google, IBM, Campbells Soup, Whole Foods, Yum Brands, KitchenAid, PwC and 3M, who will decide which are the most innovative and effective Word of Mouth campaigns this year. Also present will be members of Starcom, Media Vest Group, Digitas, Social@Ogilvy and Razorfish. Founded in 2005, WOMMA today has close to 400 members. These include brand executives who use Word of Mouth to strengthen their clients campaigns and to reach new consumers. The organization is committed to developing and maintaining the appropriate ethical standards for advertisers.We have gathered experts from leading brands and agencies, who have proven they can not only identify the best our industry has to offer, but can also implement award-winning campaigns themselves. It will be a privilege to work with each of our judges as we honor the best word of mouth and social media marketing campaigns of 2013 said Suzanne Fanning, president of WOMMA. Since 2006, this event has honored people, agencies and brands for the promotional work they have done throughout the year. The jury will include Esmee Williams of Allrecipes; Geno Church of Brains on Fire; Greg Gerik, head of social media at 3M; Kate Watts, director of Huge; and Lisa Giacosa, director of social media at Starcom MediaVest Group.
