With a display of 57 vehicles and some exciting announcements, the Ford Motor Company was an imposing presence at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show, or SEMA, early this month in Las Vegas, where it occupied 27,000 square feet of the Convention Center in that city.The auto company also had a 110,000-square-foot area outside the Las Vegas Convention Center for the Ford Out Front display, where visitors were offered ride sessions on the Fiesta ST and F-150 SVT Raptor used at Ford-sponsored racing schools at Miller Motorsports Park. Ford also presented modifications of its most popular vehicles like the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Mustang, the F-150 pickup and the Super Duty. And the Vandemonium was an exhibition to illustrate all the multiple uses of Fords Transit Connect Wagon.Going a step further, Ford also launched new car models in the SEMA Dreamcase, namely the 2014 Mustang and Fiesta, with updated accessories and personalized colors. Those who didnt make it to Las Vegas can check out these vehicles on the Ford website.Also on show at the Nov. 5-8 event was the Snakebit, a custom 1956 F-100 pickup presented by KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon Tweed. The pickup will be auctioned off next year, with the funds going to a new childrens hospital in Saskatchewan, Canada.
