The end of the world is not so bad if there is Jose Cuervo’s tequila. That seems to be the message of the new spot included in the first CP+B’s campaign for the brand called Tomorrow Is Overrated. A great cast, loads of special effects and Elvis It’s Now or Never song on a jukebox, are the ingredients of the new commercial. “This campaign points out that whatever awaits us tomorrow might not be that great of a reason to miss out the fun you could be having tonight” said Kevin Jones, Chief Creative Officer at CP+B.The Last Days is a two-minute online video ad -reduced to 60-second for national TV- directed by Ringan Ledwidge of Production Rattling Stick. It features a bar in the middle of nowhere, where the customers seem to make the best of their last moments. While a storm of wind and meteorites is all around, people dance and are served with drinks without concerning about their imminent caos. The team responsible for the campaign and the spot includes: CP+B LA its CCO, Kevin Jones; Paddy Fraser, Creative Director; Jeff Dryer, Associate Creative Director/Art Director; Andrew Jasperson, Associate Creative Director/Copywriter; and Aymi Beltramo, VP/Executive Integrated Producer. The Audio Mix, Lime Studios, Santa Monica; and Music, Beacon Street Studios, Venice, Calif.
