Teads is seeking to increase its participation in the Brazilian market and for that it will focus its efforts in strengthening its work team in that country. “This year we have almost duplicated our market participation but we have had difficulties to start in Brazil. Now, we are hiring high-level people there. It is a big, complicated and competitive market, and we didn’t arrived with the artillery we should have had. We had a very junior team, and we recently hired people with whom we know we will do very well. We are investing a lot of money in Brazil” declared Eric Tourtel, SVP for Latin America. In the context of the Charity Awards Gala Dinner of the Festival of Media LatAm (FOMLA), he mentioned that they just signed with the person who will be the new General Director in Brazil and estimates that by the end of the year, they will have hired around 15 people to make up the team. In 2016 Teads expected Brazil to represent 55% of the business, but it ended up being only 10%. That is why we are restating their goals for next year, said Tourtel.
