Flipboard launched a new Latino content guide for the United States, ideal for finding publication and sources of popular news for the Latino audience of the country. Simultaneously, Flipboard announced new alliances with publications for their millions of Hispanic readers, such as CNN en Español, FOX News Latino and CNET in Spanish, as well as Esquire Latinoamérica, Excelsior and Variety Latino, to add their articles, photos and articles, and offer a nice and captivating experience. “Around 15% of our readers in the United States prefer to receive content in Spanish and there are much more Hispanics that read Flipboard in English,” Joe Kutchera, who leads Hispanic alliances for Flipboard, said. “Our consultants in Miami, in collaboration with our editorial team in Palo Alto, have created a Latino content guide for this wide group of readers.” Additionally, a group of renowned Hispanics have started to create Flipboard magazines that will also be part of the new content guide.
