Fisher-Price and Shakira, along with her Pies Descalzos Foundation announced their partnership to create a web series for moms and jointly develop a new product line of toys.The program is aimed at millennial mothers who make up 80% of new moms today. Highly digital and very focused on sharing opinions and recommendations to other moms, collaboration links the generation of connected moms a relevant global conversation with one of the most digitally-known moms who is currently pregnant with her second child.The collaboration begins with a 12-episode web series featuring personal reflections of Shakira about what her baby has taught her about herself, the importance of early childhood development, among other topics. The series will be distributed exclusively via digital in 23 countries, delivered through social media brand and supported with paid media.”Working over the years, from my foundation and for early education, I have seen the importance of using toys in the overall development of children.
