The Ibero-American Festival of Creativity has announced the group of professionals who will have the responsibility of selecting the best Ibero-American creativity of 2022. The jury presidents:1. Ester Garcia, chief executive officer of Havas Media Group, in FORMATSEster Garcia, as CEO of Havas Media Group, directs the Media Department with a team of more than 600 within the Havas Group, leader in the media agencies segment. She began her career with the company in 1997 in Barcelona, where during her first 10 years she performed various functions in the areas of research, strategic planning and strategic development. In 2009 she moved to Madrid to assume the position of general director of Arena Media, one of the Havas agencies, where she led a group of more than 120 professionals. In 2017 she became director of Operations and Strategic Development at the Havas Media Group Iberia where she joined the Executive Committee of the group and was promoted to general director one year later, then rose to the post of CEO in 2019.She has served as juror in such prestigious advertising awards ceremonies as El Sol and Eurobest, and for the Eficacia prizes. A speaker in a variety of marketing forums and mentor in projects promoting women’s development, she tries, as much as her available time allows, to take part in training sessions as a teacher, both in advertising and media programs and collaborating with universities as she does with the University of Salamanca. For two straight years she has made the list of the 500 most influential women in our country, and was chosen among the 25 most influential women of Spain according to a study by Merca2 published in early 2020. 2. Gustavo Lauria, co-founder and CCO of We Believers and co-chairman of the Circulo Creativo USA, in INNOVATIÓNDuring his career he has won more than 300 international awards, notably a Titanium Lion at Cannes, a Green Pencil at the One Show, and a White Pencil at D&AD. He has been selected three times for the Cannes Lions jury. He was also juror at the One Show, the Clios, Andy’s and president of the jury at El Sol, El Ojo and the Wave Festival. Gustavo is creator of the Eco Six Pack Rings. The innovation was named by Fast Company as a world changing Idea, and was one of the five solutions picked by National Geographic for the worldwide battle against plastic. He is currently a member of the board of E6PR, the company that produces and distributes the rings that today are being used by Corona, Guinness and more than 200 breweries around the world. Working with scientists specialized in feeding livestock, he created, developed and launched the Cow’s Menu of Burger King for the purpose of reducing methane emissions generated as the result of cows’ digestion. Felipe Luchi, co-owner and creative director of Santeria, in ADVERTISEMENTS Felipe Luchi was born in Rio de Janeiro and has worked in advertising for more than 25 years. He is co-owner and creative director of Santeria, a production company with little more than one year’s experience on the Brazilian advertising market. The company is focused on producing campaigns for some of the most creative brands and agencies in Brazil and is the biggest prizewinner in the country, according to a report by Meio & Mensagem published in February of this year. He was also the 2021 Gran Prix winner at Ciclope Latino. Before he founded the company, Luchi worked at several agencies known for their powerful creative work. He has received some of the industry’s greatest honors including a Cannes Gran Prix, a Gran Prix at the Brazilian Design Awards, and including several Cannes Lions among others. He was also CCO and co-owner of Lew’Lara TBWA and, while working at that agency, he was a member of the Global Creative Board at TBWA Worldwide. At the head of Santeria, Luchi adds his vision to that of a group of co-owners and directors picked to form a talented, diverse group that works closely with Brazilian creativity and is respected by agencies, advertisers and the advertising market.His work has been crucial for making excellence and innovation a part of the films he has produced and for winning a number of prizes for his company in 2021 at the principal national and international festivals like Cannes Lions, Clio Sports Awards, El Ojo of Latin America, Cyclop Latino, D&AD, New York Festival, the Ibero-American Festival of Creativity, London International Awards and the Festival do Clube de Criação.4. In recent years he has been awarded various prizes like the Ciclope Latino and Mexico’s Circulo de Oro.
