El Dorado Festival is a meeting point for Latin American professionals in the creative industry. This edition will gather specialists in the fields of advertising, film, music, storytelling and design. Among the most outstanding speakers who will convene in Bogota between October 15th and 20th are: Carlos Bayala, Global Creative Director of Mother, London; Stefan Sagmeister, founder of Sagmeister & Walsh, New York; and Coleen Decourcy, Creative Executive Director of W+K, Portland. “This is a space for inspiration and training where more than 1.300 creatives gather amidst learning and celebration. In 2014, the Festival generated more than US$764,000 in free press, {Dorado Festival;http://www.festivaleldorado.com/festival/speakers} received more than 225.000 visits per day, 900 pieces from more than 60 Colombian companies were registered, more than 60 journalists from the region covered the event, and over 25 brands were present, supporting creativity. There were more than 20 jurors, speakers and special guests who gathered in Bogota and The Berlin School of Creative Leadership was in Latin America for the first time for the Festival says an official statement issued by the festival. Among the list of facilitators of the workshops and presentations are: Barry Wacksman, Global EVP at R/GA, New York; Joanna Monteiro, CCO for FCB, Brasil; Álvaro Fernández, Creative VP creativo at Saatchi & Saatchi, Ecuador; Josh Rabinowitz, EVP of Grey, New York; José Miguel Sokoloff, President of Mullen Lowe Global Creative Council; and Dave Dye, Head of Art at JWT, London.
