Federico Hauri From Bravo/Y&R: This Campaign Talks About What Makes The Wendy’s Brand And The Hispanic Consumer Different

Bravo/Y&R Miami made the new Wendy’s campaign for the promotion of the Giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger meal deal at US$5. The effort revolves around humor, celebrates young Latinos in the U.S. and presents them as Giant Juniors. According to Federico Hauri, Creative VP of the agency “this work brings to life perfectly the duality in our Es Rico Ser Distintos campaign for Wendy’s: it talks about what makes the Wendy’s brand and the Hispanic consumer different and distintos.”In three spots they present Cecilia, Santiago and Andrés, characters that represent the Hispanic Giant Junior. They are young adults with big startups, but still live at their parent’s homes. “These characters promote the Giant JBC US$5 meal deal in a memorable, emotionally and culturally relevant way” added Hauri.The multimedia campaign will be aired on TV, online and on social networks. Pablo Fusco from Black Van Films was the Director of the pieces and Alex Dondero from Vaporpost was in charge of the post-production.
