The U.S.H. Idea Awards will be held on Tuesday 28th in The Colony Theater in Miami. This year, one of the innovations was the extension of the jury from 10 to 26 people. Facundo Paglia, associate creative director at Wing/Grey NY, will be one of the juries and commented to PRODU that he has great expectations for this festival.”I was jury in the Ojo, but this festival isn’t face-to-face. This is the first time I will have the opportunity to discuss ideas with people I admire very much and I think it will be a very big learning process. For me it’s an honor to have been chosen”, stated Paglia.The creative believes the prizes are very important, “they are like energy to continue doing a good job. But what is most important is that clients are happy, that the message is effective. When you are growing in the industry and you see it as a business, you understand that the importance of prizes goes hand in hand with a good service, that they are good to make noise about the agency and always raise creatives morale”.For Paglia, “the works will be judged by very important people, such as Jaime Rosado, Cannes Grand Prix and Javier Campopiano, a big one in Argentinean creativity. This year the jury is more open, there are representatives from all the agencies and it will be very nice for all those creative directors to determine the situation of creativity in Hispanic advertising”.
