Antes y después del News Feed
Shali Nguyen, Product Design Manager and Ryan Freitas, Design Director, both from Facebook, announced in a post that the social network is making some updates to its News Feed in order to make it more conversational, easier to read and navigate. The changes will be seen over the coming weeks, they announced. To improve the conversation, the changes include comment style and making it easier to see comments as direct responses from another person. To improve readability, they increased color contrast, so that typography is more legible; link previews will be larger, and the “Like”, “Comment” and “Share” icons will be larger and easier to tap; and there will be circular profile pictures to show who’s posting or commenting. “We wanted to improve how people navigate News Feed to create a more consistent experience” they said. For this, now users will be able to see where a link will take them before clicking on it; see whose post they’re commenting on, reacting to, or reading while they’re in the post; and return to News Feed once they’ve finished reading via a more prominent back button.
