Núñez: Queremos manejarnos con los artistas locales
Movement is life, according to Erik Núñez, sound engineer and musical producer referring to his new phase as Partner and Producer at LabRat Music. With almost 11 years at Animal Music – firm he considers his home and family-, he said that this cycle has closed in order to keep on seeking new horizons. Talking to PRODU, Núñez expressed that his optimism is the core of this new project he has recently embraced with his partner Keba Williams. “The most important thing is the human factor, beyond relationships with creative professionals. We want everything to be human and manage ourselves with local artists.” The fusion of cultures that both partners bring -he Argentinian and she Trinitarian- imprint a distinctive effect to the musical house. “The musical contribution is very important. Its putting together a very powerful team at a cultural level. We have a multicultural vision.” The company that has some national and international clients is located at the artistic musical area of Miami, Northeast 148th. Among LabRat Musics most recent works is an English and Spanish jingle for Acura, order by Wow Factor Marketing shop, with the production of Félix Castro. For Núñez international recognition is the most important challenge for the Hispanic market, and in recent years Hispanic agencies have stand out.
