Rodríguez debutó como jurado en los U.S.H. Idea Awards
Erick Rodríguez, Senior Art Director at Anomaly, feels that the creative quality of the U.S. Hispanic market is measured by the combination of idea and execution, so controlling the number of ‘likes’ on Instagram, ‘views’ on Facebook, or ‘retweet’, will never give a true vision of Hispanic work. “I also see creativity as something that can be improved, particularly when it is shared and you collaborate with the owners of any brand.”To be a publicist in the Hispanic market, he says, has taught him many things “like being intelligent with the resources you have been given; finding fresh angles to what you’ve already seen and creating what truly generates an action. I am proud of having started in this industry and of the opportunities I’ve had” he commented to PRODU.Rodríguez debuted as a juror in the U.S.H. Idea Awards, held on Wednesday October 12th. “My evaluation criteria was to judge each piece with the work in the industry of its corresponding media channel and the level of simplicity with which the idea is conceived and developed. I also hope to evaluate with a fresh view, that represents the world that doesn’t live simply around the commercials and ads we create.” He adds that he hopes “to have contributed a humble point of view, that represents those of us who consume all sorts of things, who think in more than one language and who see beyond what everybody expects.”
