Tourtel: Teads Talks es un evento para compartir experiencias sobre digital
Eric Tourtel, SVP Teads LATAM, assures that 2016 will be the programmatic buying year for Latin America. He said that the region has maintained a constant growth rate together with the U.S. “Six years ago, programmatic didnt exist and now more than 50% of all digital purchases are within this format, and if its not programmatic, its no business. It will totally burst this year in Latin America, it already did in the U.S. and Europe.”Tourtel explained to PRODU during Teads Talks that this conference is the first event taking place in Miami and that its part of an initiative to introduce opinion leaders to the market and share knowledge. “Educating people and sharing experiences” he said. Opposed to Teads Academy where very relevant topics are addressed with experts, Teads Talks gather agencies CEOs, advertisers, and anyone interested in sharing knowledge about digital.Regarding the Advertising Matters campaign, in which they aim to educate the industry about the importance of making more relevant online advertising, Tourtel said that they have been able to impact the industry and he anticipated the release of a study about ad blocking in Latin America. “Brands also have understood their responsibility and are asking for formats that don’t annoy users. While more of these formats exist, more ads will be blocked. There weve begun to educate a little by repeating it many times” he concluded.
