Facebook sigue dominando en la actividad de compartir contenido

The social networking giant again shows its popularity on the Internet. Despite rumors that arise so often about some people who may be reducing the use of Facebook, the site continues to dominate in the activity of sharing content, which represents 81% of the shares among Internet users in the US in the Q4 2014, according to ShareThis. The platform is the head compared to its competition. Pinterest, represented only 7% of the total volume; Twitter and Reddit covered only 6% and 2% -respectively- in publishing. What is interesting is that the source found that Facebook has expanded its participation in an impressive 8.2% compared to 2013. Twitter was the most affected, with a 3% drop in share volume of distribution, while Reddit, Pinterest and LinkedIn experienced declines of less than 1%.Recent estimates from eMarketer report that nearly one billion users worldwide share content through Facebook’s mobile application. Furthermore, it is stated that a large part of that mobile traffic is coming through smartphones. However, it is important to note that Facebook is the least popular and least consulted site on desktop devices.
