Weinstock: El sonido puede make or break un proyecto, así que trabajar con una productora buena es muy importante
The EVP and CCO at Casanova//McCann, Elías Weinstock, has a vast career path in the Hispanic market. During those years, he has collaborated in big projects with the sound production company Tono Studios, that will soon celebrate its 10th anniversary. “I want to thank you for the magnificent work and the effort you put into each piece, always as if it were the first one, with great enthusiasm and talent. I wish you many more years of success!” he commented. The creative explained that he has always had a very good relationship with Tono Studio. “Starting with the human side, both Jaime and Raquel are amazing. We have worked together for many years, and now with their studio in Orange County, that is very near our office, it is easier to work with them more often.” Weinstock said they have worked, one way or another, on all the brands the agency handles in California. From Covered California, California Lottery, many Nestlé brands and more. “A recent project that comes to mind due to its complexity was a track for a Nestlé brand, in which the lids for several slow cookers had to sound exactly as what they were, slow cooker lids, but at the same time, they had to sound like applauses. ‘Let’s see what we can do, Jaimito…’ and Jaime did his magic and it worked out fine” he added. For Weinstock, in many cases sound can make or break a project, so working with a good production company that does a great job is extremely important. “I think it is equally important to feel comfortable. And with Jaime and Raquel we know we will end up with a good result and the process will be pleasant, regardless of how much pressure or difficulty there is.”
