Elda Bravo
Elda Bravo, Founder and Executive Producer at ACA Films, said that 2018 was a hard year to define. “It was a year with ambiguous expectations, with changes and transitions towards new paths. It started off amazingly,” she recalled, “but in the second half of the year it shifted to a slower speed.” She noted that the elections in Mexico caused great uncertainty, something that changed once they were over. “And in the U.S., you can´t imagine, we continue with the Trump phenomenon that has everyone wondering what’s going to happen next, both economically and socially.” Bravo also said that the year´s most relevant campaigns were two productions in Mexico, one for Toyota and the other for Palacio de Hierro. “In 2018 we learned to be tolerant, to keep preparing for changes and adapt to them” she added. As for 2019, she said that staying positive “will be amazing but the future is uncertain and I’m not in the habit of making predictions.”
