Bravo: Estamos refrescando la perspectiva con directores más jóvenes y locales
Elda Bravo, President and Founder of ACA Films talked to PRODU about the new vision the company is embracing in 2016, when they will have their 25th anniversary. “ACA is embarking and focusing in more consolidated and creative business adventures, particularly in the U.S. Were restructuring our vision towards Mexico, because the industry has changed dramatically.” After the departure of David Chipón former Executive Producer-, Sandra Martín Del Campo, Lala Guemes and Raúl Pérez will assume duties in Mexico and North America. “We will be focusing in advertising in the U.S., independent Hollywood cinema, documentaries, short films, and above all, content. This is the new ACA reality” Bravo explained. “This has always been a high level cooperation and creative project moving in the right direction.” Bravo is involved in independent Hollywood cinema projects, she is mentor of young film students, and she is in a vigor search to adapt her company to new realities. ACA Films is one of the first Latino companies moving into the independent North America cinema. “Were refreshing our perspective with younger and local directors, able to adapt to budgets and new industry requirements. Currently, digital market has great relevance and thats why were going deep in this U.S. sector to develop the model and then apply it to our Latin America strategy” she concluded.
