Bravo: Para nosotros es muy importante apoyar a mujeres directoras
After 30 years of steadiness and continuous success as a Producer in Latin America and the U.S., Elda Bravo, Director and Founder at ACA Films feels that the creative quality of the market is evolving amazingly each day “largely due to the growth of the market and the acknowledgment we have earned after so many years of hard work” she highlighted. For Bravo, being Hispanic represents a great opportunity to continue growing in a market with a broad range of projects and more reasonable budgets. “This means that we are finally being acknowledged as an important part of the U.S. market. For ACA Films, a company made up of minorities, directed by a Hispanic woman, is much more important” she explained. “It is rewarding for your work and all your effort to be acknowledged after so many years. ACA has made general market projects and independent Hollywood films since 1991 and we are proud to continue to be present in a new age of tech development.”The Producer was part of the jury of the U.S.H. Idea Awards 2016 and previously was a juror in the Círculo Creativo in Mexico, the Clios and in the Circulo Hispano. “The best lesson is to see the evolution of ideas adapted to new realities.” “I feel happy to be part of this market that gave me the opportunities and tools to learn more each day, to succeed in my career, to keep my companies stable and above all, to feel proud of meeting a new adopted family” she ended.
