I find its an audience very much in tune with the sector I work in, and it was fascinating to contribute my 2-cents worth and help provide a perspective about what is happening and what is going to happen he said.When asked what the U.S. Hispanic market means for the brand, the Blackberry executive said: For us the Hispanic market in the United States, like the Latin American market, if a very special market because its so loyal to our brand and our products. What we have seen is that the greater the need for communications, the greater the brand loyalty because of our solutions. As for the recent launch of the Blackberry Messenger app, or BBM, for other platforms, Fernandez said We know that BBM is among the best tools for communicating quickly and efficiently. This simply puts BBM at the disposal of users of other platforms and there was a tremendous boom right from the start. In the first 24 hours there were 10 million downloads and just seven days later we had almost 20 million more. So now we have an active population of 80 million BBM users.
