Super Bowl LIV, one of the events most coveted by advertisers in the US, will be contested on February 2, 2020. Douglas Rowell, president of Advertising Week Latin America, shared his view of what advertisers are likely to screen during the 54th NFL Championship game. “Super Bowl commercials are the closest advertisers will come to a must-have destination on television. Like every year, there will no doubt be a combination of brands that always come up with a surprise, a moment with a great celebrity, ads in which inclusion is given an interesting twist, and what I think we can always expect – something we’re seeing in every market but that stands out in the Super Bowl – marvelous storytelling,” he said. Rowell concluded that during this edition of the Super Bowl “we can expect commercials with a marvelous comedy style, something surprising, and very good storytelling…and you can be sure that something interesting will come from an automobile company.”
