Dennis Maloney, VP and new Director of Domino´s Digital Department, highlighted the importance of being in all mobile platforms to offer consumers the possibility of ordering their pizza in a fast and simple manner. This strategy allows half of the orders they receive to come from mobile devices.Dominos has strengthened its digital strategy in the last year. Their recent launchings of applications for smartwatches and the assistant for virtual orders, Domm, which allows to order while people are driving are some of these efforts. In the fast food industry, which is increasingly competitive, mobile orders seem to be an important tool to remain at the forefront. Domino´s is one of the first fast food brands to be present in Apple´s smartwatch and in Pebble´s.
