El diseño ganador estará disponible en las tiendas Target a partir del 1.° de septiembre

Young designer Julianna Bass is the winner of Diet Coke’s Young Designer Challenge in its second season. On Sept. 1 the brand made a limited edition of Bass’s creation available in Target stores everywhere. This time the challenge looked for creative individuals able to come up with an original design inspired by the style of Taylor Swift and the people who enjoy Diet Coke every day. Hundreds of designs poured in from around the country, submitted by hopefuls aching to find a way to kick off their careers.“Diet Coke is more than just the great-tasting smart boost staple in the lives of fashionistas. It’s the ultimate accessory” said Caroline Kibler, brand manager for Diet Coke. “The brand is synonymous with style, and fashion-focused programs like the Young Designer Challenge put the extraordinary talents of our fans in the spotlight”.A public vote on social networks reduced the legions of applicants to 10 finalists in June, after which a fashionista jury directed by designer Rebecca Minkoff chose the winning design.Besides being the jury’s favorite, the Bass design also won the popular online vote. Of the more than 135,000 ballots cast during the public voting phase, the Bass design stood out as the clear favorite from the very beginning.“Julianna’s design perfectly captures the energy and boost that Diet Coke provides to the people who drink it every day” said Rebecca Mink. “The brand is synonymous with style, and fashion-focused programs like the Young Designer Challenge put the extraordinary talents of our fans in the spotlight”.
