Dieste Fue la única agencia hispana que calificó en el shortlist global
The 2016 Facebook awards unveiled the global and regional winners of the best campaigns in the social network. More than 2,000 advertisers entries coming from different markets and sizes competed in the fourth edition of the award. 600 pieces were submitted in the new Small Business category, and Dieste won the regional prize. Was the only Hispanic agency that qualify in the global shortlist. This campaign has been widely awarded ate circuit festivals. The campaign placed sheltered pets in the social networks agenda, leveraging in the trending topics. The pets searching for a home were named using relevant topics in Twitter to insert them in those conversations and in this way they accomplished after a year 200% increase in adoptions. At the same time, humorous names for dogs in adoption emerged. The main trends of the Facebook awards prove that the use of video continues to grow. 75% of the winners used this format. Humor also had an important role for a more effective content. Two thirds of the submitted pieces came from international markets.
