Two multicultural agencies were recognized by the Multicultural Excellence Awards of the National Association of Advertisers (ANA), which celebrates the creative work that agencies and advertisers developed for minorities in the North American market Dieste stood out in the Hispanic category with its work for Goya, competing with Conill’s work for Toyota, and with Gallegos United for Comcast. “Winning a prize in the Hispanic category at ANA means a lot for us as an agency, because it’s awarded by the client”, said Greg Knipp, CEO of Dieste. “We have been fortunate to work with great clients like Goya, who trusted us with their brand and allowed us to take it to a place where it has never been before.” He added that “as Dieste’s CEO Dieste, what really makes me proud is to see our team doing an incredible job.” Along with Coca-Cola, Casanova // McCANN was awarded In the Audio category. While P & G and Wieden Kennedy were awarded in the categories of Total Market and Best in show. The ceremony and the conference took place at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach, where advertisers and brands gathered for two days to discuss the current events and trends of the multicultural market in the U.S. The awarding began with a cocktail sponsored by Vix.
