Ciro Sarmiento, Dieste’s executive creative director, announced the incorporation of two new professionals to the team, Monica Douglas; who will be the associate creative director and Samyr Souen, as senior art director.“Monica and Samyr’s incorporation is part of one of my challenges after arriving to Dieste: to create a new creative culture to balance strategic and business thinking the agency had,” Sarmiento commented to PRODU.Douglas worked for Grupo Gallegos, and she formerly was part of Sra Rushmore’s team in Madrid. “We are especially glad with her hiring, since Monica has an interesting experience in the digital creative/strategic field and in social media. It is a perfect match to Dieste, where our culture breathes digital, social and innovation,” Sarmiento added.Besides, Douglas commented: “I am honored of being part of this so talented group. You know that you are in the right place when you have five kinds of coffee to choose every morning. Dieste shows a fun and eclectic environment that makes us feel we are starting something really good.”On his behalf, Souen said goodbye to DM9 DDB, Brazil to accept the challenge in the Hispanic agency. “We feel proud to have someone like Samyr and it is a proof of the momentum and reputation Dieste is having as an agency,” Sarmiento said.“I would never doubt to work with Ciro and be part of his brilliant creative team. I am sure that together we will continue creating successful campaigns and unique solutions in all the possible platforms’’ Souen ended.
