Diego Arancibia, Senior Sound Designer de Indiehouse
With more than 15 years of experience as Sound Designer for the advertising and film industry, Diego Arancibia, Senior Sound Designer at Indiehouse said that what surprises him most is the incorporation of new technologies. “You have more tools to work with and to explore creatively. So, you can create unique pieces of better quality.” Always with a recorder in his backpack to capture any sound he finds interesting, Arancibia said that despite he has two years in the studio, he has discovered a market that is different from the one he was used to. “Maybe it’s a little more diffident or more accurate regarding sound. This makes my work more interesting and demanding. I always try to propose new things. I try to offer our clients much more than what they want or are looking for, giving them my vision of the creative aspect of the piece, that perhaps is different from theirs.” He won Gold for Best Sound Design at the U.S.H. Idea Awards in 2016 for the piece Sip it for Segura Viudas Cava for the agency República. “It’s very cool being recognized, it serves to be aware that you’re well focused. The most important thing of all is that the piece turn out to be the best possible and meets the expectations of everybody, including mine.” Recently he worked for Ford in the The Bravest commercial of Zubi Advertising.
