Daniel Salcedo
Daniel Salcedo, cofounder of the new platform Trenderscope, spoke to PRODU about the launching of their new project based on an application for music discovery that measures data from social and digital media of music artists with Hispanic heritage.”Beyond measuring sales of CDs or how often the song is played on the radio, many times regarding social media there is a great curiosity to truly know which artists are connected with users and which aren’t”, said Salcedo. “We saw a very important opportunity in this and we are launching a platform called Trenderscope, which is basically a curatorship of billboards in which you can see by country, territory or genre, which artists in the music industry are positioned in the Internet”.The algorithm created by the team of Trenderscope feeds off five of the most popular social networks in the music industry, as are: Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube. Likewise, Salcedo stated that the platform was conceived thinking of all those who are somehow related to music, either as a passion or as work.
