Azancot: In & Out ha seguido creciendo y estoy muy satisfecho con lo que estamos haciendo
For the Director of In & Out Productions, Daniel Azancot, 2017 was a year full of new experiences and new projects. He recently shot the campaign for Lynk & Co, a new, high-tech auto brand created by Volvo to launch a new car experience. He said he had a lot of challenges, but was very happy with the result. The shoot was completed in seven days between Shanghai and Barcelona.“We had a Swedish client, a Chinese agency and four days of shooting in Barcelona, precisely at the time of the independentista explosion. The challenges multiplied every day! It was an intense shoot, but my relations with the Creative Director and the client made everything much simpler. The truth is that in the end we had a great time, and I think that shows in the outcome” he said. “It’s funny how often projects that seem the hardest end up being the easiest.”The filmmaker noted that throughout 2017 he was able to explore different genres: “Aside from the car campaigns, I also had the chance to focus on pieces where the acting was everything.”“In May we filmed a very fun spot for WHAL, during which I enjoyed shooting soccer at its most passionate. VW continues to be a frequent client, which is very lucky. I love the tone of the brand’s communications. This year, I also had the chance to open up to other markets. In & Out has kept growing and I’m very satisfied with what we’re doing” he said.For 2018, Azancot already has some big projects on the agenda, such as a new campaign for Audi, written in an ironical and sophisticated tone. “I’m sure it will be another great year, so let’s go ahead and enjoy!” he said.
