Damián Coscia será jurado del FIAP en la categoría Creatividad Independiente en Redes Sociales
Damián Coscia is the chief of creatives at DKP, Miami. He has been in the industry for more than 18 years and has worked with great brands of the US Hispanic market and the general market. He was a member of the Comisión del Círculo Argentino de Creativos (Argentinean Creative Circle Commission) and participated in important festivals. This year he will be jury of the Festival Iberoamericano de Publicidad (Ibero American Advertising Festival) (FIAP), which will be held for the first time in Mexico from April 22nd to 24th.His job is to evaluate the Independent Creativity in Social Networks category, which, according to Coscia’s own words “is not an easy category to judge, nor to participate in”. PRODU interviewed him to know his expectations about the festival. For this year he hopes to “see ideas that surprise thanks to their freshness, spontaneity, and for how visceral they are. I want to see what I see in social networks when something goes viral in a natural way, because it is worth sharing, in a genuine way and with no help”.For him, the relevance of Hispanic creativity contests is global. “Talents that stem from the region reach the best creativity spaces in the world”, he commented. “In Hispanic agencies I see a constant search for ideas and people with plenty of talent to take us further and further”.”I am always very happy to be invited to be jury. Work done with enthusiasm is something that catches and inspires me. A prize is not only an acknowledgement for those who win”, said Coscia. “In my opinion, a prize always legitimates a path”.
