Face To Face Webinar 19 Octubre
In the final 2021 edition of Face to Face Webinar, Gustavo Lauria, cofounder & CCO of We Believers U.S.; Juliana Leite, director of Special Projects, Africa DDB Brazil; Diego Wallach, CCO of Publicis Group Mexico; and Andres Vargas, partner & CCO FCB & Fire Colombia/North Pole, shared with PRODU’s Mara Fernandez details of the campaigns that were the biggest winners at FIAP 2021. Gustavo Lauría spoke of The Classic of History, a project developed for Corona Mexico that was surprising for the wealth of details it was made up of. “Doing work like that requires clients who believe in getting really original ideas, never mind how long they take to achieve,” he said. “FIAP for us is a tool for winning new business.” For her part, Juliana Leite commented on Salla 20232 and Let Her Run, two of the festival’s biggest winners. “In the case of Salla, we’re looking at a project that had to be postponed because of the pandemic, but with such a strong idea that it could be successfully launched almost a year after it was shot,” she said. Meanwhile Diego Wallach spoke in his presentation about Seguimos Hablando (Let’s Keep Talking), a campaign seen around the world thanks to the use of technology that favored its powerful message. Wallach talked about how on his trip to Latvia he found a team that even complemented this great project. Finally, for Andres Vargas, the success of Unboxing IBAI came with the development of the brief. “That document alone was an immense challenge for the industry,” he said.
