In the 60-second spot Delivery Car of the Future, CP+B agency mocks how pizza delivery must be done. “Its time to imagine the unimaginable, reimagined” says a voiceover in the spot, while a technician -in a white lab coat- inspects the vehicle. As the inspection goes on, the voiceover talks about the benefits of the vehicles built-in features. By means of an agreement with General Motors, the company was able to create a delivery car fleet called DXP with a built-in oven illuminated via red LED lights to keep pizzas warm in order to reach home “fresh from the oven.” The new delivery vehicle has become the companys star, and now has the leading role in its last spot. The concept was born from the idea of a pizza deliverer that in 2012 suggested to Patrick Doyle, CEO of Dominos to build a car that had an oven. Also the company launched a contest in which the stores that are selected, could win one of these vehicles valued at US$ 25,000.
