The success of the campaign {#GirlsCan;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmmGClZb8Mg} of COVERGIRL; a movement to help young women to break barriers empowering them to become the next generation to change the world, made that the brand donate at least US$5 million during the next five years, to support the work of people and nonprofit organizations that help women break barriers and open paths. The {#GirlsCan;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmmGClZb8Mg} movement started this year with an inspiring video with the COVERGIRL girls: Queen Latifah, Ellen Degeneres, P!nk, Sofia Vergara, Becky G, Katy Perry and Janelle Monáe. With more than 10 million of visits so far, this positive movement has generated a great impact and inspired a challenging conversation. The two first beneficiaries of the brands commitment are: Girls who code and the Soledad OBrien + Brad Raymond Starfish Foundation. In COVERGIRL, we have always celebrated inspiring and strong women. Those who do not let that anyone or anything blocks their way, Esi Eggleston Bracey, COVERGIRL Cosmeticss VP and general manager, said. Our family of innovative and fabulous women have this spirit, since everyone of them has overcome the barrier in their own lives. We are so committed to empower women with {#GirlsCan;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmmGClZb8Mg} that we are contributing with US$5 million to finance people and programs that share the same passion we have for motivating women.
