Hayes: La comunidad hispana en nuestra red es enorme y muy amorosa
Sonia Sroka, Multicultural Communications Director at Facebook, together with Manny Ruiz, CEO and Founder of Hispanicize Media Group, introduced Facebook’s Product Manager, Connor Hayes, who gave a presentation called Mi Comunidad, during the second sessions’ day of Hispanicize 2017. Hayes showed the innovations that the social network is developing to improve their users experience. “I’m very excited to be here. In Facebook, Spanish is the second language after English. For our network the Hispanic community is huge and very loving, is the group that uses the most the ‘I Love’ reaction button in Facebook.” During his talk, Hayes explained how Facebook Camera, Facebook Stories and Facebook Direct work. “Increasingly people are sharing more and more photos and videos and we want to help them do it better. That’s why we are introducing these tools in all Facebook’s platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and chat.” They incorporated to the camera different effects and filters “we want to give our platform users more expressive possibilities.” Hayes gave a live demonstration of Facebook new functions and afterwards he introduced the Olympic gymnast, Laurie Hernández in order to perform different tests with the filters.
