Coca-Cola realiza cambios en la estructura organizacional
Coke recently made some radical changes to the management and organizational structure of Coca-Cola Americas.Effective on Jan. 1, 2014, the integrated business of the United States was segmented into a traditional company and the operating model for bottling that continues to serve the needs of the North American market.It consists of the operating units Coca-Cola North America and Coca-Cola Refreshments. As a consequence the following management changes have been made:Coca-Cola North America is headed by JAM Douglas as group president, reporting to President Muhtar Kent. Douglas will also remain in his position as president of sales and global clients.Coca-Cola Refreshments the bottling operations in the United States will be handled by Paul Mulligan as president. CCR will become part of the Bottling Investments Group and Mulligan will report to BIG President Irial Final. Mulligan is currently the head of Commercial BIG and regional director responsible for BIG investments in Japan and Latin America. Now reporting to Mulligan in his new role are CCR Canada, Product Supply Chain and Service, Bottler Commercial, Customer Care and Region Sales.North American Enabling Functions continues supporting both CCNA and CCR. Meanwhile Steve Cahillane, president of Coca-Cola Americas, “has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities,” Coke said.The operational structure of Coca-Cola Americas will no longer exist. The Latin America Group, directed by President Brian Smith, will form part of Coca-Cola International. Smith will report to Ahmet Bozer, president of Coca-Cola International.
