Copa Coca-Cola Camp es parte de Unified sports
This year, during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, 116 participants from 28 countries met in Sao Paulo to be part of a Coca-Cola football camp from June 10th to 15th. Coca-Cola Cup Camp is part of Unified Sports, a globally known program that promotes and generates social inclusion through sports. The idea allows participants to discover new languages and cultures, as well as making friends from all over the world, which shows that sports go beyond competition and it means team spirit, friendship and respect.During the Coca-Cola Cup Camp, participants learnt Brazilian football techniques and collaborated with the construction of a community center in Sao Paulo that will be part of Coca-Colas heritage and that will allow to run the friendly tournament Coca-Cola Cup. Besides, participants had the opportunity to live the World Cup in first person, since they saw the opening match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Brazil vs. Croatia.Other activities where Coca-Cola Cup Camps assistants took place were to inaugurate, along with Brazilian football legends Bebeto and Marta, a renovated football field to be used by the community in the Dom Bosco Social Project in Itaquera, Sao Paulo.
