Broken Crayons 2
The Republica Havas advertising and communications agency has won a silver, bronze and shortlist in the CLIO Health Awards for the campaign Broken Crayons, created for the non-profit organization Amigos for Kids. The silver was in the Events/Experiential category, bronze in Public Relations and shortlist in the Single Platform Campaign group. The campaign was also honored by the CLIO Awards with a bronze in the Special Event category and a shortlist in Multicultural. The project consists of an art exhibit mounted by Amigos for Kids – an organization that seeks to protect children against abuse and neglect – during Miami Art Week, with drawings by real children that at first glance look normal but actually contain disturbing signs of abuse. The multiplatform campaign unleashed a huge dialogue on social networks, thanks to the video that illustrates these youngsters’ tragic plight.
