Cisneros Interactive announced the majority investment in Audio.Ad, digital audio advertising platform with a scope of more than 35 million users in Latin America and the Hispanic market in the US.As a result of the acquisition, RedMas, a company that belongs to Cisneros Interactive and is led by Germán Herebia and Carlos Córboba, CEO and COO respectively, will commercialize in an exclusive manner, Audio.Ad´s advertising solutions in both markets.”Cisneros Interactive continues with its strategy to innovate in digital advertising, acquiring most of the share block of the first net of audio spots in the region. This investment goes hand in hand with Germán Herebia and Carlos Córdoba, with whom we partnered previously in 2011 when Cisneros Interactive invested in RedMas, the online advertising net they founded”, emphasized Víctor Kong, president of Cisneros Interactive.For his part, Germán Herebia said: “The addition of Cisneros Interactive as partner of Audio.Ad allows us to expand our net in all the markets in the region and count with a sales force that has broad experience in the digital industry”. He also mentioned that the investment will allow them to open an office in Brazil before ending the first semester of 2015.Carlos Córdoba added: “Audio.Ad is a pioneer company in digital advertising, since it introduces in the region the concept of digital audio spots.
