LatinWorks announced that Christy Kranik a 12 year agency veteran was appointed as the new EVP and General Director of the team. Also joining the creative leadership team is Gabriel García, as new Executive Creative Director. García parted from his own agency Cultura when LatinWorks acquired it in 2008. These decisions are part of an effort to speed up the agency’s evolution among a dynamic multicultural space. The announcement came this week during a meeting at the agencys central headquarters in Austin, Texas. “No one has played a more important role in the development of our culture and the growth of our business, than Christy” said LatinWorks CEO and Co-Founder, Manny Flores. “Her managerial qualities and relentless client focus will serve us well as we continue the process of strengthening our agency’s offering”. Kranik was recently named by Ad Age one of the Women To Watch in the advertising industry. She is known for her ability to develop talent, stimulate organizational change, and lead with disciplined focus on clients and their consumers. “My goal as the agency leader is to build upon our strong foundation and evolve our offering. Creativity is, and always will be, at the core of the solutions we offer our clients” said Kranik. Garcia is key part in this process. “Gabriel is an exceptionally talented creative leader”.
