Christopher Vega, copywriter en BBDO
Christopher Vega, Copywriter at BBDO, received this year the Young Innovator Award for his initiative called The Concepting Class, aimed at helping young, underprivileged creatives have access to better jobs. He was part of a similar program: Stanford University´s MAIP, in which he now trains new participants. Vega is one of the one hundred people being interviewed in the context of the 100th Anniversary of the American Association of Advertising Agency (4A’s), to get a glimpse into what drives them at work and fuels them in life.If Vega didn’t work in advertising, he says he would try to earn a living writing stuff, “maybe writing novels that would get rejected by publishers.” But what he is most passionate about is writing and producing music. “I know it’s my passion because I’m essentially addicted to doing it. If I don’t finish a song every couple of weeks, I feel really unproductive” said Vega, considered “a multi-hyphenate who is shifting the way we think about training creative talent. Vega is living soundly beyond the brief”.
