Chris Thomas, President and CEO of BBDO North America, believes the industry is now more creative and complex, and therefore, opportunities to reach consumers are enormous and diverse. He warns that the possibility consumers have to avoid advertising is greater than ever, “hence the importance of having pieces that have won creative awards, which is proven to be ten times more effective than those that have just been acknowledged for effectiveness” he said. Thomas visited Mexico and met with Carlos Vaca, President and General Director of BBDO México, to share the agency’s plans and achievements with the clients and the team work. During his stay in Mexico City, he met with some of BBDO´s clients to reiterate the network´s commitment to maintaining creative leadership and achieving differentiation in the market.
