Second Chances
Casanova//McCann was recognized at the CLIO Awards for their campaign Second Chances for Donate Life California. The initiative received a silver in Innovation and another silver in Partnerships & Collaborations. The bronze was in the Direct category.“We are very happy to see that Second Chances continues to be recognized as a great idea to promote organ donation. The jury of the CLIO are first-rate and it is difficult to win. Having obtained three in this edition of the festival fills us with pride” stated Elías Weinstock, EVP & Chief Creative Officer of the agency. The effort, as part of a collaboration with local police departments and the non-profit, organ-donation organization Donate Life, gives drivers who infringe traffic regulations a “second opportunity”, as a token of gratitude for being organ donors and giving other citizens a second opportunity in life. This is the third recognition Second Chances obtains; the first was with five Lions in the 2019 Cannes Lions Festival; and the second with a Grand Prix, four golds and a silver in the Ad Stars, celebrated in Korea from August 22 to 24. The ceremony of the CLIO Awards will be held next September 25 in New York.
