Cannes Lions 2015 appoints Heineken as creative marketing of the year

The International Festival of Creativity, Cannes Lions, announced the winner of the award that recognizes companies that have distinguished themselves for inspiring global marketing innovation in their products; and which embrace and encourage creativity in their brand communications.”Creative Marketing of the year award in Cannes Lions is awarded to a company that is breaking the boundaries of creativity and really believes that creativity drives business and can improve the state of the world,” Philip Thomas, CEO of Cannes Lions, said. “Heineken lives and breathes creativity through their organization, and has an excellent framework that allows their marketing teams the freedom to experiment, preserving the fundamental essence of its many brands.”Commenting on the achievements and position as creative salesman of the year, Alexis Nasard, President of Heineken for Western Europe and Global Marketing Director, said: “Creativity is a competitive advantage, since it is difficult to replicate. It is in the heart of the major design programs and marketing, as well as innovation. This prestigious award recognizes the great creative work of our group and what agencies are delivering. This award shows that we are achieving just that.”Heineken will be honored during the 62nd edition of the ceremony, to be held in Cannes, France, from June, 21st to 27th, 2015.
