La campaña defiende los derechos de los inmigrantes latinos
CHIRLA’s Turn Ignorance Around campaign, produced by the agency Walton Isaacson, is nominated in the category Hispanic to the ANA 2016 Multicultural Excellence Award. That is what the Hispanic agency announced in their Twitter account.The Turn Ignorance Around campaign, created pro bono by the advertising agency led by Aaron Walton and Cory Isaacson, seeks to defend and show the positive contributions made by Latinos of all social conditions. The initiative also flips the script of racist stereotypes, with dual-sided t-shirts that serve to reveal the true stories about the people who are wearing them.Walton Isaacson created the strategy and creativity for the social media campaign, website and video, as well as the t-shirts. The activation of the campaign was designed for the 10th anniversary of the historic immigrant rights event “La Gran Marcha” which will take place in Los Angeles on May 1st.The CHIRLA Action Fund speaks up for full inclusion of immigrant families in Los Angeles, and is a sister organization to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. The ceremony will be held on October 9th, in the Los Angeles JW Marriott.
