Bud Light grants a Spanish accent in Voto in the Super Bowl

The company Anheuser-Busch and its beer brand Bud Light launched the commercial {Voto;www.produ.com/publicidad/videos/index.html?Noti=10496}, starring the Mexican actor, Michael Peña, during the Super Bowl, aired on ESPN Deportes. The 30-second ad by Wieden+Kennedy New York, was directed by Nico Kasakoff of Nunchaku and filmed in Los Angeles. Peña as a candidate of the Bud Light party, whose slogan is “EE UU”. A series of funny situations show the Mexican actor trying to break stereotypes and suggesting the use of more than one surname, and also to be like super heroes.The ad marks the first time that Bud Light creates a commercial in Spanish to be aired during the NFL championship. Anheuser-Busch realized its beer is preferred among Hispanics, according to Nielsen figures.
