The recent triumph of the US team in the Women´s Soccer World Cup unleashed a wave of support and celebration on social networks. Fans, as well as the main US brands, created graphics and videos to celebrate their country´s victory. The pieces were posted on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. The day of the game, brands from various sectors twitted their support to the team, using the hashtag #PassTheLove, to highlight the possibility of a historical triumph. When the US beat Japan 5 to 2, brands like Adidas, Coca-Cola, Disneyland, Hallmark, McDonalds and Southwest Airlines, revealed their colorful pieces devoted to the women´s team and athletes. Carli Lloyd scored three goals that were decisive for the victory. Honey Made, JC Penny, Target, Tide and even the US Marine were part of the celebration. The Marine made an aerial photo of an aircraft carrier on which they wrote #USA, while the brand Tampax promoted the hashtag #KickLikeaGirl.
