The President of Cortez Brothers, Bernadette Rivero, noted that this was a great year for the production company, which scored no less than a 30 percent growth over 2016. “We want to keep growing in 2018 while doing more of what we like: digital advertising, traditional advertising and going all-out to create feature films and television shows, always with a Latino touch, always of the finest quality, regardless of whether the production lasts 2 hours or 6 seconds” she said. The production company’s most recent projects include a large-scale shoot in the health and personal care category for the general market. “In the last few months we have filmed some very fine projects for JCPenney and Kroger for the Hispanic market, and a few weeks ago a branded content tie-in for a Lionsgate feature film to premiere in 2018” Rivero said. “As for storytelling, a few weeks ago we were hired to write the script for a period feature film and a TV drama series” added the company President, who said the company’s strategy for 2018 is to innovate and improve performance, increase production quality and efficiency, and, of course, to produce and tell the best stories.
