After a year of using the Vix brand name and delivering more than 1 billion monthly video views, Batanga Media announced a full rebrand. The digital media company for the U.S. Hispanic market, Latin America and Brazil will be now known as Vix, and this rebranding will formally debut during the 2017 SXSW Interactive Conference in Austin, TX on May 12th and 13th at the Demo Gallery.“It was important for us to create a strong, global brand that could speak to hundreds of millions of people, across different languages and categories. As platforms and user behavior evolves, so will Vix in order to deliver the stories that add value to the lives of our audience” said to PRODU, Vix’s Chairman and CEO, Rafael Urbina Change comes on a time of evolution and growth for the company. Twelve months ago, Vix was introduced as a digital property with a broader position and brand promise than any of the other properties within the Batanga Media portfolio – iMujer, Batanga, and BolsadeMulher-.
