Azteca Dallas, Hispanic television station part of Azteca América, recently announced that it has teamed with Cárdenas Marketing Network (CMN Events), leading agency in multicultural events, to be the official sponsor of the upcoming concert of the Mexican singer and composer, Juan Gabriel. The awaited concert will take place next February 26th in the American Airlines Arena in the city of Dallas and will include some of the Divo de Juárez’s biggest hits in his 45-year career.Enrique Pérez, executive VP of Azteca America, confessed to PRODU that he was very excited with this alliance. “Azteca serves the Hispanic audience of the US and we want to be associated with the best events in our community, and Juan Gabriel’s concert is one of them”.For her part, Verónica del Castillo, anchor of the program Al Extremo of Azteca, will be in Dallas offering viewers a special coverage of the event.For the local clients it is the first time that, together with Azteca, they can be associated with concerts exclusively aimed at Hispanics. “Working together we can achieve a lot in Dallas and in other communities where Azteca América is present. Our objective is to offer an experience that the Hispanic community will always remember”, added Pérez.Likewise, the executive explained that since the launching of Azteca América in 2001, they have perfected the programming strategy to adapt to current trends and the change in their audience’s visualizing preferences.
