GfK junto a Interactive Advertising Bureau presenta un interesante estudio
One of the worlds biggest marketing investigation companies, GfK, along with the Interactive Advertising Bureau, published an investigation to know what activities carry out US internet users when surfing the net.The results showed that users spent around 186 minutes on average, in 2013. 28% of the time was for mass media. During their connections, social networks such as Facebook or Twitter were the favorite, where users spend 37 minutes daily. One of the most remarkable data is that users continue using their e-mail regularly. During the day, they use it 29 minutes. This way continues being one of the ideal vehicles for advertisers to send advertising or the mass media their newsletters.The list includes the activity of watching online videos of any kind, from TV programs to amateur movies or short clips. This and the visits to browser make users spend 23 minutes of their time.Regarding online game, these are the last of the five activities that are practiced most, with 19 minutes.Both reading and writing in blogs, listening to the radio on the internet, take eight minutes of the users time, but reading newspapers and magazines only five and three, each one. The remaining half-an-hour is a combination of activities that the investigation does not mention.
